President Trump and the First Lady tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday, Oct. 1.

According to a report from The New York Times, people close to Trump say that he currently has a low-level fever, cough, and nasal congestion. Mrs. Trump is having mild symptoms.
The president was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday where he was given an experimental drug in the form of an antibody cocktail among other medications for treatment.
Trump stated in a short video, “I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out.” He added that “the first lady is doing very well."

The president most likely contracted the virus at a fundraiser he attended on Thursday, where he came in contact with approximately 100 people.
The Democrats are responding with sympathy.
Mr. Biden, hoping that Trump will have a full and speedy recovery, said “this is not a matter of politics, it’s a bracing reminder to all of us that we have to take this virus seriously.”
