The entire nation is on the edge of its seat, anxious to know which presidential candidate will reach that special number of 270.
The candidate who reaches 270 electoral votes will win the election and become the next president.
As of now, Joe Biden has 264 electoral votes and Donald Trump has 214.
The country is still waiting for the poll results of Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, which are all currently leaning toward blue (Democratic), and Alaska and North Carolina, which are leaning toward red (Republican).
The race is astonishingly close, with Biden leading only by 1500 votes in Georgia.
The tension is rapidly growing, and protests are building up in various cities around the country.
There is also always a possibility for a tie. In that case, the vote would go to the House of Representatives.
Hopefully, the final results will come in and our next president will be chosen by the end of this week.
Lastly, President Trump claims that he will not concede if Vice President Biden wins.
