Barry University students now have a brand-new way to shop for everything they need on campus. The university officially opened its new campus store this fall semester inside the Landon Student Union beside Bucky’s Cove. This new campus store is now offering a wide variety of essentials, including textbooks, school supplies, electronics, and Barry gear.
The move to Landon is designed to give students better access to the campus store by placing it at the center of campus life. Students no longer need to make long trips across the university to purchase what they need for classes or to show off their school pride. This strategic relocation reflects the university’s commitment to enhancing student convenience and encouraging a more connected campus community.

Manager Tara Marinkovic said she believes "it is a really good transition for the university."
She said, "We are changing gears and moving toward a more modernized approach to our campus store,” noting that students now have more opportunities to access everything they need in one central space.
Marinkovic emphasized that the goal was to support students academically while creating a welcoming space on campus.
In addition to the physical store, Barry University has taken steps to expand student access by launching a proper online store. Enhancing convenience and availability, Barry University has partnered with BibliU, a digital platform designed to give students quick and affordable access to online course materials. For those who can’t make it to campus at all, Barry launched MyBarryStore: a 24/7 online shop where students can browse the full inventory, place orders for textbooks, supplies, or Barry gear, and have everything shipped directly to their homes.
The initiative provides students with around-the-clock access to everything the store offers and get notifications when certain items are out of stock. This ensures that even those who prefer digital resources or need them at odd hours have an easy way to access their readings.
The relocation and introduction of these new digital services have quickly made the store a more visible and popular part of campus life. The modernization of the campus store aligns with a broader trend in higher education that integrates physical and digital resources to improve the overall student experience. By unifying essential materials in one location and expanding digital access, Barry University reduces barriers that keep students from getting what they need, helping them stay organized and prepared throughout the academic year.

Student employee, Giovan Ntansah-Boating, majoring in computer science, said “Students can come in and buy what they need, [like] Barry merchandise, books, calculators, printers, and other essentials to help them throughout the school year.”
The student worker highlights that the newly relocated campus store offers a convenient space where students can easily access a wide range of Barry supplies to support their success throughout the school year.
Looking ahead, Barry remains committed to enhancing the store’s offerings and improving accessibility for all students. Barry continues to support its students socially as well as academically, ensuring that the campus store remains a valuable resource and space for student engagement.
